For a long time, we’re taught to believe that careers move in straight lines. Pick a goal early, follow a clear path, and keep climbing step by step. Real life rarely works that way.
As a kid, I wanted to become an automobile engineer. That felt like the plan. Over time, things shifted, and I ended up pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications instead. At that point, I thought I had simply changed tracks once and settled into something new.
Then, during my second year of my Master’s program, I discovered design. I was heavily inspired by the work of Bosslogic, and that moment quietly changed everything. I never even sat for campus placements after that. I knew I wanted to explore this new direction fully.
I joined a Silicon Valley based startup as a Graphic Design intern, with very little understanding of how design truly worked in the real world. What I did have was curiosity. I stayed there for nearly six years and explored every corner of the creative field. I worked across 2D and 3D design, motion, merchandise, spatial design, and even projects closely related to interior design. The scope kept expanding, and so did my perspective.
Later, I moved into a Creative Lead role at Cutting Edge Group. While the title changed, the journey did not slow down. I initially worked as a Senior Motion Designer, but over time I realized I wanted to do more than just execute ideas. I wanted to shape direction and increase impact.
That same curiosity eventually led me to teaching enterprises about Agentic AI. Today, my role goes beyond creative leadership. I also work as an AI Trainer for corporates, helping teams understand and apply emerging technologies in meaningful ways.
From Automobile Engineering to Development to Creative Design to AI Training, I’ve pivoted multiple times. And honestly, I don’t think I’m done yet.
Careers are not ladders. They are maps with detours, overlaps, pauses, and unexpected turns. Growth is rarely linear, and that is not a flaw. It is often the point.
